The good thingsGreat casuals, always busy. Loved it
The challengesNot being told anything, company isn’t organised, no communication from store management or higher, no room for training or progression. Always hire externally

DO NOT WORK HERE
The good thingsnot alot, everyone was super stressed and lost
The challengesway too many. The management was extremely poor, there was no company goals, so no one knew what they were working for. No performance reviews, no KPI and a lot of toxic behaviour.

Great place to learn the ins & outs of swimwear, however not a fun working environment.
The good thingsLearning how to deeply engage with customers.
The challengesThere is clearly a 'type' that is hired here. I felt very uncomfortable as a bigger girl working in a swimwear store, yet it is preached that we look after every body size. My manager was to blame I believe, not Seafolly.

A learning curve
The good thingsGreat team to work with and there was always something fun and social happening which was exciting
The challengesManagement and organisation was poor and if you weren’t an executive your voice didn’t really matter.
HR department was definitely the most unhelpful department there. Could not go to them for anything. It was merely a what they say goes and they did not take into consideration about looking after their employees

Terrible management (unprofessional, gossiping and creating a nasty high school environment to work in), stuffed around with work hours and rosters, short shifts.
The good thingsDecent staff discount
The challengesThe management and other staff. Catty and competitive environment, terrible rostering and not being given the hours i was promised.

What was once an iconic Australian brand has become a disappointing mess of a company to work for.
The good thingsDiscounted clothing, central location
The challengesInexperienced HR team - unable to assist with workplace bull ying. Constant restructuring and redundancies meant that everyone else had to pickup extra workload. Poor management with lack of commitment to KPI management and reviews. No opportunity for career growth.

High stress and expectations for very littler reward or recognition
The good thingsSupport of other store managers within the region.
The challengesHead office and regional Managment have such a high turn over of staff there is very little support on a store level. Product is so far behind current trends it’s hard to remain competitive with other retailers.

Supportive, positive and energetic environment with great staff
The good thingsIt's an amazing, positive and friendly environment to work in. All the girls from other stores, managers and head office are all so lovely. The management system is good and there's always someone to turn to for help. The staff discounts and incentives are really good as well.
The challengesNot many shifts for casuals in winter due to slow foot traffic.

Working here was a major mistake!
The good thingsI worked with some amazing people, and made some great friends. The perks of the job would include the product discount and location.
The challengesTerrible management and communication. Very little space to grow and the work load was also excessive for the salary.

A really lovely workplace that helped me develop my professional workplace skills.
The good thingsExcellent management, uplifting environment and fun people to be around. I felt valued at as employee and enjoyed every shift.
The challengesIt was difficult working by myself some night shifts or Sunday shifts. But it did help to improve my confidence in running the store by myself, and helped improve my initiative.
