    Don't bother applying - the company has been going downhill and negatives now outweighs the positives.
    The good thingsInteresting products, lots of smart people, a worthwhile mission.
    The challengesPoor management that doesn't seem to care - most of them are barely in the office anyway (despite RTO mandate). Very difficult to progress your career, even if you try to drive it yourself. IT, HR etc are all useless and either can't or won't help you with problems - even if they've been going on for months and affect the whole organisation. Very little pay increase in 2024. High turnover which causes even more stress and work for the people that remain.

    I've had a good experience with Seeing Machines so far. I find it to be very similar to slightly better than other companies that I've worked at. Also, Canberra is a great place to raise a family.
    The good thingsOverall good working environment with opportunities for professional development and plenty of exposure to high-tech and leading safety technology. Management and communication has improved a lot.
    The challengesThe company has gone through ups and downs the past years due to internal and external factors, but management seems to be learning from their mistakes and the company is becoming more "mature" in the way it conducts business and treat their employees. I think the biggest challenge for Seeing Machines will be weathering out the current/upcoming economic slowdown, but this will be the same for most tech companies across the globe.
