    Good work experience
The good thingswork from home and some of the people i worked for. I also had a good team leader at the time but it feels as though they had no say in the end.
The challenges- felt micromanaging at times - everything you say is scripted so i didnt feel i could be my true authentic self when speaking to customers but i guess thats how it is working in a government regulated role. - money was okay as it was a contract role but felt that there was no career progression unless you were a teachers pet.

A hideous place to work Some of the people that work there are great - they try to support you. However complex and difficult computer systems make it hard to learn - any mistakes then you are gone! Recruitment agencies promise you the world but they are the first to shaft you. There is a reason why half the place is vacant - you’ll never last. Total waste of time and disappointing experience.

    Micromanagement professionals
The good thingsThe pay, however that is mediocre in comparison to other departments.
The challengesSenior management allow inappropriate workplace behavior to continue by not investigating employees claims of misconduct, even when put forward by the PSA union. No flexible work arrangements for frontline staff.

good for someone to get some experience but not worth staying in the long term
The good thingsA recognizable organization, being a government entity you do have some job security.
The challengesThe job description does not describe the well at all. Its an inbound call center. You will not be operating a concierge anywhere. Heavy micro management very high turnover rates - over 50%

Training and pay was fantastic, team leaders treated new people badly, procedures constantly changed without warning.
The good thingsHigh pay, 2 weeks paid training was provided, set rosters.
The challengesVery strict with breaks - including bathroom breaks. Would be severely penalised if you were gone for even a minute longer than your scheduled break. While they spend a lot of time on training, all programs can be completely revamped at the end of your training leaving everything you just learned pointless - and they won't bother to show you the new procedures after 2 weeks.

I loved my job and worked in some great teams, but I would have to say, I was disgusted by some comments I heard from a Regional Manager in regards to body image of staff etc. maybe less judgement of people’s appearances would be nice, and possibly acknow
The good thingsThe front line staff, good benefits and great pay.
The challengesToo much change in centres. Staff, particularly co-ordinators are sent from one centre to another all the time, they keep bringing in new staff in these positions instead of giving some good staff the opportunity for advancement, help staff that would make good co-ords by training them and providing feedback and work with them. Dont just toss them around from one centre to another. The staff are getting sick and tired of consistent changes

Great money does not make a person stay
The good thingsAmazing salary package and set business hours
The challengesManagement who never really check in with staff, lack of support, the constant hiring of casual or temp staff without making part time staff full time when they've been asking for months, loyalty to exiting staff who pull their weight does not exist.
