Great
The good thingsEasy job, that pays well
The challengesyou need good sales skills to convince people to buy the expensive beds, can be hard to get people over to the bedding section. There isn't any upward mobility, it's just sales rep or operations manager, and that's a big leap

Happy working for the Comfort Group
The good thingsThe product is excellent,I like the new bed launches where we have dinner and raffles. You work on your own ,so your not being micro managed .
The challengesThe first year is challenging as you have to learn product knowledge and learn to use the systems .As well as build a great relationship with managers and staff that work around you.I work with the other brand right next to me and it can become tense when competing against another person/brand

Sales Consultant then Store Manager of a Sleepmaker reseller

Would only ever sell and buy Sleepmaker sleep gear.
The good thingsThe direct support team was effective and supportive. Upper management were always interested in better methods. They recognised the salespeople as a fundamental part of their success
The challengesMarketing and advertising was ineffective and too price driven both requiring, but also allowing the salesperson to work harder to assist the customer with the right sleep system. Product quality was good.

Was an awesome company until they become a corporate conglomerate.
The good thingsThe people I worked with were the only reason I stayed.
The challengesThe board, The owners and the head of HR are not in touch with what really goes on at ground level. They make decisions from an “ivory tower” and never ask employers there opinion or input.
