Good intentions but failing in many ways+ Trying to move towards a more contemporary company, by adopting "Agile", some other "transformation" projects, and big emphasis on "inclusiveness". - Work-life balance is problematic. People are bragging about how much they work overtime, during lunch breaks, over the weekend. There is heavy bureaucracy, even the teams that are working to change it contribute to it. The new so called agile transformation is actually an "agile processes" bundle.

Chaotic and disorganised, but there are good people there.
The good thingsThere are genuinely helpful and knowledgeable people here, and the atmosphere, although muted, is often cordial. I encountered very few objectionable or unfriendly people.
The challengesChaos often reigns - it is a fast-paced job, but this could be avoided with better organisation, more realistic deadlines and improved communication between departments. Long evenings and weekends are not uncommon. Staff turnover is quicker than I've seen elsewhere.

If you're looking to be demoralised every step of the way, this job is perfect.
The good thingsI made great friends who were supportive with one another.
The challenges- Unprofessional and under experienced managers - No opportunity to grow your skills within the company - Unrealistic time frames for the workload given - Management focused more on quantity rather than quality resulting in unhappy customers and improper procedures being done

So much potential - terrible COO and executive team.
The good thingsFlexibility was ok, pay was decent, nice office with great focus on D&I. CPO was great, be she left, likely pushed out by an incompetent Executive team.
The challengesThe place was in shambles. The Executive team were like what you would expect to buy from Temu, none of them had any idea what they were doing and there was constant issues between them creating operational and strategic holes in the business. Plus the COO was a complete narc who ruined the place.

Do not work here as it is just waist of time
The good things"Not really! They've transformed the company into a very toxic environment."
The challengesThere’s no flexibility for employees, only for top management. HR and upper management are indifferent to employee concerns, which go unheard. Career growth opportunities, especially for women, are virtually nonexistent. They don’t disclose salary ranges, and there’s pay disparity between male and female employees. The work environment is toxic, with poor management. Projects take an eternity to be initiated and are often executed poorly. Bonus and pay raise are unclear to everyone and often delayed. There are no guidelines or structures of why or how you got what you got. Poor training and on boarding plans. Pretty much no training plan in place. Cannot give feedback and if you do, basically you are told it is what it is!

You will meet some great people. Great job for picking up experience in other departments but with little compensation
The good thingsOffice space is lovely and in a great location.
The challengesTurnover rate is high and they hire people in management with no knowledge of the role. This effects their ability to help their team leaving the team short of helpful human resources. The company delays hiring new staff and prefers giving current employees unrealistic work load and unreasonable salary for the work they take on.

The challengesMicro management. Extremely high turn over. Over working employees. Their actions don't match what they say. Double standards depending how popular you are.

Leadership needs a change for the the better. They have some great talent, which will just walk out the door.
The good thingsi am struggling to actually find something to write about my time at this company. Interview process got me excited, i felt like it was an organisation that would be future focused. Sold me a role that they were not even ready for.
The challengesArchaic style of leadership in the People and Culture community was very much led with fear. People and culture are supposed to be the enablers of the business, however the leadership in P & C did not enable the direct team. Not an environment where you can have an opinion or share ideas or challenge the status quo.

The first few years were very rewarding and fulfilling. The last two years have been exasperating, frustrating and extremely toxic.
The good thingsThe product, the clients and some employees most of which have now left.
The challengesThe last two years the company culture has changed dramatically and simply a different company. Staff have left is droves both through redundancies and simply disillusioned. Inexperienced management who encourage a group think mentality.

    Amazing. Smart place to work.
The good thingsI cannot praise SmartSalary enough after being here nearly 4 years. This company does what it says it's going to do and care about their people, listen to their people. What company CEO knows everyone by name? Hundreds of staff and partners! I work remotely and am challenged on a daily basis to give my best. I think of head office as an exciting place to visit and if you are a team player and work hard you are recognised. What company prior to your probation tells you they will offer you a cash payment to leave rather than stay somewhere you don't fit?? All this while actually providing a product that is so beneficial to our clients.
The challengesThere have been times where the culture comes I to question due to individuals who needed to move on. That happens in every job.
