    If you are a manager with experience running hospitality operations, this role will kill your soul.
    The good thingsThe people you work with on site.
    The challengesUnrealistic expectations of staff. 15hr days expected as normal for managers. Poor senior management with a 'you're replaceable' mindset. Significant micro-management from head office. Huge staff turnover. Absolutely no way to provide a good guest experience with the budgets provided.

    The challengesGetting taking advantage of. Management wants everything for nothing. Expected to do the job of three people. Being away from family.

    Not worth your time, You will be more valued elsewhere.
    The good thingsSome people you meet on site.
    The challengesExpected to work 30+ hours over time a week and there is no time in lieu. Expected to be on call on the weekends even though your contract says you work 38 hours a week and weekends off. There are people in management positions who are not fit to be in those roles. Diversity, inclusion and culture are non existent although Sodexo preaches they are all about the above. Make sure no one in your family dies because they will make an already difficult time even worse with absolutely no empathy or support.

    Overall good work culture, but not worth staying for years as you'll lose on the monetary benefits that are available for you in the industry.
    The good thingsSodexo is really about equal opportunity for all. Equality, diversity, and safety values are deeply embedded in our work culture. There are plenty of opportunities to grow if you utilise the resources available and are ready to experiment and challenge yourself.
    The challengesThey aren't the best payers in the market. Sometimes not even open to discussions, market reviewing and paying at the bar. The top leadership are currently focused on making profits, so they're frugal with everything else.
