    Time flies at Solgen
The good thingsGreat hectic environment working in the renewable energy industry. The people are very friendly and on the whole they seem happy to come to work and share there insights and experiences with ease.
The challengesEndless reporting as the business is owned by private equity co. So there is a fair amount of pressure in most departments to do better than the week or month before every day.

Very busy and exciting sector and company doing something positive for the environment.
The good thingsExcellent MD, Very savy leadership and business development team. Great bunch of people, passionate about renewables and making a difference. Rapid growth means there is always opportunities opening up and the culture is such that if you see a problem and are passionate about fixing it people will give you the authority to take ownership and make a difference.
The challengesA growth rate of close to 100% year on year creates a very busy and dynamic environment. If you like change and progression this is great, but it can be a little overwhelming at times

A challenging work environment in an unsteady industry only brings continuous change.
The good thingsI have met some great personalities and have learnt a lot.
The challengesCommunication between various departments could be better. Unmotivated colleagues make it a dull place. Staff turnover is extremely high and staff are overworked. Adequate training is not given to all staff.
