Read the reviews before deciding to work here and be aware turnover is high.
The good thingsThe doctors were great to work with and very supportive. There were some fantastic staff as well.
The challengesWhen you approach thr manager to discuss the way that staff are talking to you this should be addressed because a 2IC should be approachable not nasty and rude. To be told suck it up tgats the way the 2IC is with everyone is not an acceptable answer to a concern.

    TOXIC ENVIRONMENT, Run!!
The good thingsThe Doctors, Nurses and screening staff are all lovely.
The challengesThe Manager and 2IC... there is a reason they are always hiring, they are TOXIC, the 2IC is rude to staff and customers and and staff are told to suck it up by the manager and that is just the tip of the iceberg

    Don't do it to yourself.
The good thingsSome co-workers were good.
The challengesManagement. Being mislead constantly in regards to the work life balance. Having to remind them of availability. Hearing, "it's okay we understand about things in your personal life", only to have them thrown back in your face. I'll never understand how quickly, from interview to having the job, management do an incredible 180 from lovely, to absolutely disrespectful. In training being told it's desirable to ask for help, only to be called stupid if you do so. I could write an absolute essay. It's a disgrace.

Look after your mental health first.
The good thingsMeet life long friends and career development (due to huge staff turnover)
The challengesManagement, you either get a really nice clinic where they run really well or you get stuck in one where you spend your whole time trying to fix something that cannot be fixed. There is good clinics out there just make sure you find the right one with the right team running it.

Not worth it clinically or financially
The good thingsGood work life balance eg. you don't take work home with you. There is little to no clinical responsibility on you at all. Work is repetitive and requires no lateral thinking.
The challengesDont waste your time working here as an EP, there is no clinical exposure to clients at all, no opportunity for growth for ES/EPs in the spaces that we studied for.

Don't expect to feel supported. Most employees are lovely to work with but many have grievances and aren't happy with pay and work load therefore turnover is very high. Older clinics are filthy. As a nurse there's no professional development and no performance reviews. Inexperienced people in supervisory positions with little people skills making staff feel uncomfortable and unsupported. Senior management are aware of ongoing mistreatment within a certain clinic yet action was not taken resulting in staff resignations. 1 star given for some professional, kind practice managers. 1 star for friendly co-workers.

Big company with lots of empty promises and very poor management.
The good thingsColleagues are nice to work with but most have the same complaints about management and how poorly the business is run in terms of employee satisfaction.
The challengesPoorly qualified management, has very little insight to daily work flow, have minimal clinical exp, are poor communicators. Business protocols appear great on paper but there are no audits or reviews to see if they work well, or work at all. HR staff need multiple emails to get contracts correct.

A very poorly ran organisation where management don't care about the employee's, very underpaid for what's required in the job, constant mistake's and stuff up's are made where adequate training is never provided. It's more about making lots of money for management up higher and certainly not about patient care. After 4 years of working hard in this establishment management didn't even thank me or even say anything about it being my last day. I would not apply here, save your time!
The good thingsThe team we once had, but then ultimately got driven out because we all spoke up about how poorly everything was ran.
The challengesVery poor pay for amount of work that's required, for an EP pay should increase each year. Very poor management skills, managers don't care at all. Consistently double or even triple booked - overworked at times Quite a toxic environment!

The stress associated with this workplace is not justified by the compensation, and I would advise caution when dealing with management, as they do not prioritize employees' best interests, even when one dedicates themselves fully to being an exemplary employee.
The good thingsThe sole positive aspect of my work experience there was the doctors, who were warm, polite, and professional.
The challengesManagement fails to provide sufficient support for employees with disabilities. Management often lacks patience during training and frequently fails to honor the agreed-upon probationary period. There are too many rumormongers. I would not recommend this organization as a viable employment option.

The good thingsEKCO Hand Therapy has an excellent leadership team, interesting and diverse surgical and conservative caseload, opportunity to work with leading surgeons, great professional development support and mentoring, beautiful and fun team of therapists and admin, good pay and career structure

Love the people I work with but the stress of the job is not worth the pay.
The good thingsA few good coworkers that have become really good friends outside of work
The challengesManagement have no idea what they’re doing. For the amount of work screeners and results management do we are severely underpaid. Taken away our screener incentive so why do more work when we can be on front desk doing less making the same amount?

Don't work with these people. Management have no clue.
The good thingsGood team of clinicians and administrative staff
The challengesInstead of hiring individuals in management that are highly conscientious leaders, there appears to be a bunch of career climbers with little to no clinical experience that run the place like tyrants.

A company that makes hundreds of millions of dollars in profit, but cannot pay staff a fair wage.
The good thingsWorking autonomously & working with patients who appreciate your skill and hearing the feedback directly from patients.
The challengesIncompetent, ignorant, biased, rude, unsupportive & immature management that ignore emails, communications and generally are only "supportive" when it suits them and if not an ongoing issue. Management have openly stated they care more about the business needs and requirements then staff welfare.

The good thingsThere is nothing good about this company
The challengesManagement are inexperienced and have no idea how to actually manage staff let alone a whole clinic. Expect below award wages for screening and the admin role according to the work you're actually given.

Fun for a bit but not worth the strain on your mental health
The good thingsThe friends you meet and the support from team members in the office
The challenges Gaslighting from management and sometimes other team members. No way to get promoted and the customers you deal with aren’t worth the pay.

Ask lots of questions before accepting an offer and make sure that you can tolerate the working conditions and pay.
The good thingsThe lure of 8 to 4 Monday to Friday
The challenges- Revolving door of employees and clients - Low pay and benefits - Many employees are doing double the work due to staff shortage issues - Dreadful culture of senior management vs everybody else - Believing that SHP is Australia's leading provider of occupational health services

    Overall: OK
The good thingsNo day is the same. The busy environment and my colleagues make the day go faster. Pay is okay, just enough to afford the necessities.
The challengesPressure from upper management is an issue, there's little to no support. Their focus is making $$$ more than their employees' well-being. Ironic for a Occ HEALTH clinic.

Great environment with an absolutely fantastic team
The good thingsThe culture at Sonic HealthPlus head office is great. The team environment is extremely friendly and have an all hands on deck approach. The AR & AP team are absolutely fantastic, if I was to recommend working anywhere in Sonic HealthPlus it would be the head office finance team.
The challengesIn the finance team it can get extremely busy so time management is key in a role in finance
