    Horrible place to work
The good thingsThe only good things are that you work in airconditioned space, diverse team.
The challengesManagers sub humanistic attitude. Will swear every second word, remind you that you are disposable every hour, tell you to do something then get mad when you do it. He expects you to be his robot servant and stand for 8.5 hours despite only serving 5 customers a day. This may seem biased however it is honest feedback. If you value your self worth - do not work here.

My job has equipped me with the tools to deliver professional customer service, while still hanging on to that "easy going" sports store vibe.
The good thingsGreat environment to work in, fellow staff are eager to help and make working enjoyable. Always learning new things to help me with my job too.
The challengesTheft is probably the biggest challenge. Having to worry about people stealing simply because the apparel we sell is so popular is frustrating at times. However, getting stolen goods back from the thieves is always rewarding.

Don't be fooled by the appeal
The good thingsWorking for the Zorich Group chain of Sportspower, it was a great family company when I first started. Unfortunately it changed before too long and the success got to their heads and started moving away from those core values. Discounted items, Brand information nights, good bonds with staff members.
The challengesUpper management always wanting more even when you are busting your gut for the company.

    My Sportspower journey
The good thingsWonderful uniform Cool air conditioned shop to work in Meet lots of new people Still got some time to have a life or get things done outside of work. Discount of sportswear in the store - not great but better than nothing.
The challengesLearning about all the products without a lot of training. Learning about more of the opposite sex orientated sports to help better serve those needing information about products you would need to be involved in those sports
