    AI summary of recent reviews

St Carthages Community Care offers several positive aspects for employees, including salary sacrifice benefits and a supportive team environment. Staff particularly value the opportunity to make a positive impact on clients' lives through their work, and appreciate the culture within the organisation.

However, the organisation faces some operational challenges, including communication issues across the geographically dispersed Northern Rivers region. The rostering system presents difficulties for some staff, with broken shifts and long days, while some employees note concerns about role consistency, particularly regarding work assignments between disability and aged care services.

    Worked hard for a pittance.
The good thingsThe clients and the opportunity to make a positive impact in their lives
The challengesThe biggest issue was the terrible rostering. I could leave home at 7 in the morning and not get home till 7 at night, yet only work 5 hours. Broken shifts a long way from home, with no consideration for staff.

    Going downhill rapidly. Mass resignations
The good thingsSalary sacrifice, great respite house
The challengesPoor management. There are more staff in head office then there is support workers. No staff meetings. Extremely poor rostering. No communication. Disability staff having to work in Aged Care because of the continued loss of dissability clients. If you are employed as a disability support worker, be prepared to be rostered with domestic house duty shifts with Aged Care clients. No care factor with this organisation at all.
