Poor management, poor salary, management doesn't listen. Limited resources to do anything despite a global business. No budget allocated to the Australian offices, so don't expect anything here.
The good thingsCan't think of any good things to say
The challengesManagement is a joke, never listens and blames on the limited resources to make changes. I told you, all the good ones will eventually leave, and here you are fast forward to this day, the good ones left and you're stuck with fossils. Pay is below market so don't bother.

Good place to gain experience but don’t stay too long.
The good thingsLocation but building interior very dated.
The challengesUsing outdated in-house systems. Most of the work offshored these days leaving empty Sydney office with just long servers left. Very low paid & management has no care for their staff. Absolutely no team or work culture exists.

Too much work, for far too little pay compared to similar roles elsewhere. Very archaic organisation, seems to be struggling to adjust to the modern era. Management are very entrenched in their thinking, seem to spend more time making excuses for old software and lack of flexibility than trying to make the work more sustainable.
The good thingsThe office location is in the heart of CBD, trains and trams reach easily.
The challengesPoor facilities and tools. Computer screens are propped on fax paper, you don't get a headset - had to use my own. Company is very cheap, they even ask you to fill a form to get a pen and notepad. Extremely long hours, never finished at a reasonable time. 12 hour days were normal.

The challengesSystems etc. very US centric which makes it difficult to service local clients well. Multiple management changes over a relatively short period.
