    Apart from meeting some nice people and making some friends it was a complete waste of my time.

    Less than 1 year in the role, former employee
    Wouldn't do it again for $1000 take home. Not interested in working 10 hour days because there is no logic in logistics these days.
    The good thingsHope you're passionate enough to do what you love without any rewards.. Like overtime. Say goodbye to hourly rate if you want to advance your career.
    The challengesTelling the chefs you're not going to buy ingredients at 4pm Sunday afternoon. In future for that matter.

    Did not live up to the sales pitch
    The good thingsGood exposure to a diverse range of food items and preparation methods. Interesting menu and high quality product.
    The challengesHighly rigid and dictatorial management structure. Lack of respect for staff. High expectation from management with minimal positive feedback or reward. Very high staff turnover rate. Low staff morale.
