Worked in a support role within the company

Friends get priority; management favors personal connections.
The good thingsI enjoyed working closely with my direct colleagues.
The challengesUpper management openly favors friends, while other staff are routinely overlooked and undervalued. My role ended under circumstances that contradicted how the position was publicly presented. Transparency, communication, and genuine care for employees are practically nonexistent.

The challengesNothing major, every job has it's challenges, it's how you're supported to overcome them that's important and Summit provide that support.

Working at Summit Homes has been a great experience!
The good thingsA great company full of great people, from senior management all the way to junior team members! The culture is collaborative, and everyone is approachable and willing to help, which creates a great work environment. The social functions are pretty good too!
The challengesNothing really, the company seems to be really agile and ready to adapt to any changes. As long as you are agile and flexible too it wont be an issue.

Everyone here works towards the same goal, delivering great homes for our clients and that shared passion creates a motivating and inspiring culture.
The good thingsWhat has really stood out to me is the company’s focus on growth, not just professionally but personally as well. Whether it’s training sessions, mentoring, or simply learning on the job, Summit makes sure you’re always improving and feeling valued.
The challengesNo workplace is perfect, and there can be the occasional challenge, like tight deadlines or balancing workloads during busy periods. But the leadership team is approachable and always ready to help where they can, which makes a big difference.

Summit have proven to be a successful company, growing fast, and attracting a great team with a great attitude on the way.
The good thingsI have started in a newly created role, and have been given the resources and freedom needed to perform. The team have been amazingly supportive and friendly. It's the most down to earth and "real" team of people I've experienced working with.
The challengesChange comes fast, driven by the current market, and it can be challenging to learn a new role at the same time. Some company systems are pretty complex too.

Great people, great leadership, good direction and a great place to work.
The good thingsThe flexibility provided by Summit Homes Group is something I have not experienced at any other project builder in Perth. Summit has also provided great career development whilst maintaining the flexibility around my young family.
The challengesWe have had to adapt and be innovative in recent market changes and this came with its challenges but were also rewarding given we came up with some great solutions to an industry crisis.

No Opportunity for Career Growth, Toxic Culture, No Security.
The good thingsThe culture was good at the beginning and the company encouraged socialising and social activities.
The challengesAbsolutely no opportunity to grow, management and HR overlooked me constantly and engaged new employees instead of up-training existing employees wanting to lean. Very toxic management, culture and environment, stress of job security always an issue, regularly watched highly regarded senior employees made redundant on a regular basis (based on market) No loyalty.. I lost a lot of precious career time that should have been spent growing developing my experience and feel I got nothing beneficial towards my career during my time at Summit Homes, t I wouldn't recommend a career there to anyone no matter what they're promising.
