Great opportunity for someone wanting to earn good money by working school hours.
The good thingsCo-workers are welcoming and make an effort to help you. Manager is very approachable and willing to give you pointers and constructive feedback. Work/life balance is great. Perfect for those wanting to work around school hours.
The challengesDays can be hit and miss. Because of the nature of the role, a run of low sales can mean you're out.

The good thingsGreat salary and bonuses. Didn't need an experience, training was quick and easy.
The challengesCold calls - lots of people would hang up. Must meet KPI otherwise face termination. Bad managers.

you need to be assertive but not pushy and be open to learning and you will have fun.
The good thingswell it was a fun place to work. the people were really nice to me and the manager made my time there really positive. i learnt a lot, and it was a short day which was perfect for me. i had never worked in a call centre before and it was way better that i thought it would be. the manager made me feel valued.
The challengesi didnt get the sales that i wanted, and that is an important part of the job. i was given training and lots of support, but it just wasnt for me. I was happy for the chance and will take what i have learnt to my next job. even though i chose to leave after a week i was treated really well and with respect.

    Awful.
The good thingsThey hired anyone, regardless of past experience.
The challengesNo training, rude management, no interest in fostering working skills. They cycle through people and rarely keep anyone for longer than two weeks. At my time working there the most experienced in the cold calling team had only been working for six weeks.

The challengesYes, there are some knock backs in Telemarketing but with training you learn not to let it get to you.

They fired the best manager I have ever had because they would not confirm and lower the self to be unfair and nasty.
The good thingsBefore they fired them I had one of the best managers I have ever had
The challengesRegardless of how hard you worked and did your best if you didn't meet company quotas it wasn't good enough and you went to work every day worried about whether you would have a job at the end of the day
