A community that leads with heart, purpose and genuine care.
The good thingsMoving interstate to join Sydney Catholic Schools has been one of the most positive professional transitions I’ve experienced. From the very first interaction with HR through to meeting my new team, I felt genuinely welcomed and valued. There was a real openness to learning from the different experiences I brought from another state, which made settling in so much easier. The induction program was incredibly thorough and thoughtfully structured. It gave me the clarity, confidence and context I needed to step into my new role and contribute meaningfully from the start. Regular check‑in meetings show that support here isn’t a one‑off gesture but an ongoing commitment. I’ve learnt so much already, not just about the role but also about shared purpose that defines SCS. The faith‑centred environment adds a deeper sense of meaning to the work, reminding you that you’re part of something bigger than yourself.
The challenges I am very happy with my role.

The challengesSCS is a rewarding place to work, one challenge new starters often notice is the complexity of navigating a large, multi‑layered organisatio

Talent Acquisition ManagerWe’re sorry to hear this was your experience. We know that not every program or workplace change will feel the same for everyone, especially when schools are responding to the changing needs of students. Our priority is always to support students well and create a positive environment for staff. Feedback like this is valuable and helps inform our ongoing improvement.
