    Don’t work here unless you want your mental health to seriously decline
    The good thingsAbsolutely nothing was good about working here
    The challengesThe whole work place environment was toxic from both the entire management team and fellow employees. Was constantly spoken down to and treated like I was worthless. They refused to schedule enough staff for a shift and then expect everyone else to pick up the slack on top of all the work they’re already doing. So one person ends up doing 3 people’s jobs. Management ran the store so poorly and were also extremely rude to customers i constantly had customers complaining to me about how management spoke/treated them when they spoke to them about issues or concerns

    Only care about you being there, can't be sick. I couldn't have any opinions or problems as they swept my serious allegations under the rug. The environment fosters bad attitudes towards work, some people can handle it and stay positive, most aren't.
    The good thingsI made some lifelong friends, and learned lots from the butchers.
    The challengesManagement and head office didn't take my serious claims seriously. Only cared about the popularity contest and not the wellbeing of their employees.

    I am grateful for all that I learnt from my fellow butchers but the management from head office were terrible they only cared for there pockets and them selves, they kept employing senior management into invented roles while the store suffered with wage c

    I didn't have a great experience from the start I was mistreated by one team member for most of my years there, and I was made redundant when new owners took over, so I wasn't real impressed

    Learnt new helpful skills, however would not recommend to a friend.

    The challengeslong shifts in a very cold environment, always walking around fixing something or putting fresh meat out. Eventually got back problems. They don't let someone just stay at the register even on busy days. The cashiers have to also run around the store doing other jobs. Managers only care about the looks of the store rather than quality of product
