The yard boys are all good here, I would say look after you own interests and don't expect anything.
The good thingsOpportunity to drive trucks if keen.
The challengesIn my opinion there is a clear leadership problem, this type of leadership has moved from ownership to survival: protecting positions, avoiding decisive action, communicating poorly, failing to follow through, chasing last minute short-term outcomes rather then building new long term relationships. This ultimately seem to default to a Machiavellian logic of control rather than principled responsibility.
