The only way to survive GEO is to not ask any questions, keep your mouth closed and turn a blind eye to poor clinical care and client outcomesThe good thingsMy colleagues were lovely, but due to on floor management staff attrition is the highest I've ever seen anywhere in my 25 years of nursing
The challengesThe on floor managers, as well has head office, are clinically out of date & have little or no consultation with client facing staff. Exclusion of more experienced clinical staff, from on floor managers, is rife. On floor managers do not want to be questioned on policies/procedures and are not interested in efficient and safe client care, their main objective is to ensure that they met their KPIs and avoid fines re timely care delivery, even when clients are not seen but just booked in to an appointment!
