Stay away from any brand under the LVMH umbrella
The good thingsThe Staff discount was good.
The challengesManagement were horrible and staff had low/ poor morale. Staff were busy gossiping about others instead of focusing on customer service.

Came to Tiffany for a better work environment but ended up in a worser one leaving me absolutely traumatised after realising what I had stepped into.
The good things50% discount. Every second weekend off as a full timer. Lots of training provided by head office.
The challengesLack of professionalism. Lots of gossip between staff. Management and staff concerned more about gossip than working. No positive encouragement or support provided by senior staff or management. Toxic environment

    Management and systems were awful.
The good thingsMy team. The discount.
The challengesWorst management I've ever experienced. Workload unmanageable. Short staffed. High staff turn around. Had to work all the public holidays (paid at normal salary) . Bonuses are only for management. No career progression. They don't listen to their staff.

Glad to have it on my resume. Won't be returning (even as a customer)
The good thingsGreat working hours over christmas and very generous employee discount.
The challengesVery judgemental and rude senior staff towards newer staff. They acted very superior towards new staff. Management didn't care about their seasonal staff either. Was very disappointing as it's such a highly respected company. Not as professional as I would have expected.

Despite my own experience, I think it's fair to say T&Co is a good learning place which carries memories both sweet and bitter
The good thingsThe best training you would ever get in a retail career, a great place to learn luxury from scratch. Well-organized team, rules are very clear to follow
The challengesA lot of "b i t c h i n g" going on, people are constantly sabotaging each other if you're in their way Salary is considerably lower than its major competitors Not much career progression if you're not on the right team

The flagship Tiffany store located on King and Pitt street has the best team hands down! Great culture, great company, great people, beautiful products.
The good thingsThe people, the team, the culture, the products, everything!
The challengesThe policies are a little hard to remember sometimes, but that’s ok, just ask if you’re not sure!

It was very good and very bad at the same time.
The good thingsI had an amazing team and we worked so well together
The challengesWhen some of the colleagues wouldn’t put the jewellery pieces in the designated area so we would be ‘missing’ jewellery pieces

No opportunities to grow or further develop despite the promises that this will occur.
The good thingsThe discount and the team I worked with
The challengesHigher mAnagement. The job is particularly boring and you do not use the skills you have which they wanted when you apply.

Growing company that is a market leader!
The good things-Established facilities -Fabulous Management team to work for -Forward thinking company to stay on top of the market -Staff recognition milestones (5 years, wedding, baby)
The challenges-Sales oriented environment (not much room for career development if outside Sales roles) -Working on public holidays -Challenging to get external career development training unless extremely high up the hierrachy.

Difficult to adjust but 100% worth it!
The good thingsWorking environment, worker benefits, future opportunities, you feel like you're a part of something special.
The challengesThere is a lot of pressure in terms of how you present yourself and the amount of effort you must put into the job. There is a lot to remember for product knowledge and store policies and security.

    happy to be there.
The good thingsGreat people and place to work for, you will have to work hard, but at the end of the day, we are well looked after by our managers, great merchandise to work with, the best in the market, and well respected in the trade. luxurious, vibrant, beautiful jewelery.
The challengesbe the best professional at all times, no time to be complaisant, work hard and busy busy all the time, if that is not for you, then you would not fit in. welling to learn all the time is part off this company, and if you go in as the type i know everything, you will have the shock of your life.
