    The challengesThe management team was very inconsistent. Lots of deals and arrangements made but never delivered on or simply reneged. Setting up massive projects with no support. Unrealistic expectations, minimal professional development. Flights (fifo) or lack of, Training promises never kept.

    Dull and monotonous, Toxfree is a breeding ground for boredom, frustration and depression.
    The good things- Good colleagues, everyone acknowledge that we're in this together - Occasional exposure to some interesting work
    The challenges- Monotony, no variety in day to day activities - no opportunity for promotion unless someone quits - \"We've always done it this way\" attitude from management. Will \"acknowledge\" your ideas and then discard them - no incentive for high achieving workers to maintain their performance. This quickly destroys your morale so everyone gets to the point where they just come in and drift through the day - Management more interested in waging factional warfare than caring for the workforce. If you express the want to be exposed to different aspects of the workplace expect to be ignored and sent back to your corner of the warehouse - Poor salary given the chemicals you're expected to work with - have an aptitude for sweeping things under the rug

    The Experience of working on the Chevron Gorgon Oil & Gas Project was a once in a life time opportunity for us, we couldn’t thank Toxfree enough for giving us that opportunity, we would do it all over again in a heart beat, certainly miss it.
    The good thingsThe management was excellent, they gave me & the wife an opportunity to work for them on the Chevron Gorgon Project on Barrow Island, we did a great service for them to show our gratitude for giving us a life time opportunity & and just the whole experience of working & meeting new people.
    The challengesThe challenges would have to have been the Roster 26/9 it was a bit hard at first but the money

    Now they have been taken over by another company
    The good thingsI was with them briefly, came to work with them after they made an asset trade, I was originally with JJ Richards, this was a company who treated their staff well.
    The challengesThe take over was rough and left some out of pocket driving those staff to leave, which left everyone else picking up the slack.

    Great, one of the best places I have worked.
    The good thingsGreat co workers very easy to get along with. Most staff are willing to help, everyone chips in and does their bit to help. You learn something new every day and you never know what the next project/job might entail.
    The challengesHigher management can be a pain to deal with. Pay is slightly below average, but made up for in other ways. Inexperienced staff can be arrogant and don’t like to be told wrong. Especially within higher management, then become spiteful when proven wrong.

    The challengesIt seemed you needed to be apart of the local Rugby League team to get anywhere in this job as management where coaches or played some part in the local club. Also if you wanted a job just join Gladstone brothers.

    The good thingsA extremely casual work environment, if this is what you are looking for. Some staff were very friendly. Clock in Clock out for the most part. Very casual management style.
    The challengesThe position advertised did not clearly capture the role requirements. This made it difficult with no formal training provided and extremely high expectations and no support from management. No diversity in areas leading to cultural differences and an environment of fear created by some staff and management. Do you research and ask questions of what is required and training provided before signing on.

    A fantastic job, shame about the management
    The good thingsThe Operators I worked with were a dedicated group of people. The role was challenging and interesting.
    The challengesDealing with a dysfunctional and disinterested management group. Not even basic levels of integrity or management skills leading to chaos and disillusionment in the workforce.
