If you are looking for a friendly, supportive and fun workplace, then put Travelex down as your next destination!
The good thingsTravelex is a friendly and supportive business that challenges you to think outside the box. I work within an amazing team where each person has something different to offer. As a new Mum, I am given lots of trust and flexibility which is vital in this current environment. I am challenged to explore new ideas and feel safe to be myself in the workplace. I am proud to be a part of a reputable brand and play a role in improving the skills and ability of our people.
The challengesI joined the business just prior to Covid so I witnessed a lot of the challenges the business had to go through in the last few years. However, it's our reputation, teamwork and loyalty of the people in the business that keeps Travelex going, stronger than ever.

I have reached career heights, I hadn’t even imagined and am excited for all the future opportunities that come along.
The good thingsI love the culture this company produces. They are extremely supportive and have repeatedly championed my efforts, to help me reach my career goals.
The challengesAs with all companies, dealing with the changes to operations as a result of the pandemic, has meant facing some difficult customer interactions, but as this is par for the course, when working on a frontline, having the support of your colleagues and managers, enables you to face this with ease.

Management Good Work and Salary Not Good
The good thingsColleagues are friendly and very supportive.
The challengesAll the work is manual. They do not work smart, they slog, which is a lot of manual work involved which consumes a lot of an individual's time. If they work smart by using CRMs or other tools, the same time can be used to do other important work which is for companies benefit. The Salary package is not what is going on in market and is not fair compared to the work I have to do.

Travelex has been a very refreshing change to the traditional working environment I have experienced in the past. The culture is modern and fun and there are many opportunities to thrive in your professional life.
The good thingsAs a new starter I feel very welcomed into the organization. There is a fantastic work culture and a lot of support from senior members of the team. There is also a wealth of experience to draw from, with colleagues who are genuinely willing to help you learn.
The challengesAny challenges experienced so far have been well balanced with the opportunity to learn new skills, as well as pool of support to draw from.

I've been here for nearly a decade. If I didn't view the job and company positively I wouldn't be here still.
The good thingsA very open and inclusive culture. It's a place where you can quickly make friends for life. There are plenty of opportunities for advancement as they hire from within before looking outside. Fast paced environment where every day is different. Bonus structure that puts teamwork first which means no sales stealing.
The challengesIT can be an issue (but where isn't this the case?) Slow when it comes to rectifying maintenance and cosmetic issues. Shift work if you're at an Airport location There is no compensation based on performance. What you're paid is what you'll always be paid. Depending on your location, OT can become the standard.

As a new employee I instantly felt like part of the team and was so supported during my onboarding process. Being a global company, there is a lot of opportunity for growth and career progression.
The challengesSome systems are outdated and don't integrate but that is being worked on by the team.
