worst management to deal the manager has no human values treat emplyees like scapegoats
The good thingsNothing good about the company except a few headless chickens running this company
The challengesAlways challenges worst management to deal the manager has no human values treat emplyees like scapegoats and does not give any value. Just even tries to force them and make them to work crazily even by paying the worst salaries goats and does not give any value. Just even tries to force them and make them to work crazily even by paying the worst salaries. The Manager is really bad is one of the laziest person and never responds but expects his employees to do more than 100% for the penunts they pay. Really bad I advise people not to apply for this company as a IT technician becz becz of the worst management. They dont know what they do.

Positive Work Experience, but lacks disability inclusivity.
The good thingsThe process of scheduling, completing and reporting on work was very nice. The actual repair work was probably the best part of working here.
The challengesThe company could probably improve on their inclusivity and disability support since anyone entering with some severe mental issues, such as ADHD or ASD, might have issues with certain processes.

I highly recommend not working here!!
The good things- If you were lucky, you might have a half decent team.
The challengesMonthly pay cycles (which is against the relevant award) Poor upper management Location was undesirable A lot of petty issues between managers and staff.

They need to wake up and move on into the current way of working and not the older styles
The good thingsDirect teams can be great. Upper management do not understand how to focus on the workers and not just then end goal and profits.
The challengesIf you are needed by multiple clients some managers do not like you booking hours to that job even if you do the work.

Suitable for beginners but not for experienced professionals. I don't recommend it for those with experience, as your skills may be underutilized. Managers sometimes act like dictators and blame their mistakes on employees.
The good thingsIf you work as a field engineer, there will be some flexibility in terms of scheduling.
The challengesVery low salary and no annual increase. For example, in 2022-23 there was a salary increase throughout Australia, but not at all in unisys

Role looked promising but was disappointing
The good things- Meeting new people and traveling keeps the work varied - Lots of hands on experience and learning opportunities
The challenges- Being expected to complete work you have no experience with and very limited training, while management has a "figure it out" type attitude. - For your hard work and dedication you will be rewarded with more work. - Limited work/life balance. - Dealing with challenging clients & customers.

Low pay and not much work, management had no idea, left at end of the short contract.
The good thingsFlexible, work was enjoyable.
The challengesPaid a tiny amount per computer repaired on behalf of a major computer company. Support provided by said company's staff for repair was a joke, they had no idea.

Good for experience and getting your feet wet. Not good for growing and looking for future progress, get your experience and move elsewhere
The good thingsIt's the people that keep you there. There is a lot of people who care about you and want to help but they are limited by upper management. This is a US based company so don't expect any support from them..
The challengesNo rewards for employees for good work, no pay rises, expected to work long hours/overtime for little to no benefit. Some incompetency at local levels depending on which state you work.

The team I specifically was in Unisys was great, things were bearable because of our Team Leader, however management made our lives depressing.
The good thingsThe only good thing in Unisys is if your team is able to work together to make a reasonable work/life balance in your team alone without management interference.
The challengesManagement expectations are unachievable, no guarantee for a yearly pay rise, no given opportunities to further yourself in the company and if there is the pay does not change.

its an okay company to dwell and gain work experience. Not for anyone with grow ambitions.
The good thingsnice office, recently renovated.
The challengestoo many middle managers that do not do much but delegate. Associates in the lower hierarchy usually overloaded with work. Too many changes in senior managment directions.

Coworkers are great, Management is terrible, No one else doing a traineeship there will stay after they get their Cert 4.
The good thingsThe other Field Technicians were great and we were more like friends than coworkers. traineeship for a cert 4!
The challengesManagement being unresponsive and demanding, Would take more than 2 weeks for them to read a message let alone respond on any form of communication. complained about the little amount of jobs i completed each day (they wanted a daily average of 5.6 min) but would only give me 1-3 jobs each day, and most customers would be busy anyway. Only reason people apply is for a traineeship for a cert 4 that only lasts a year.
