    Micromanagement Hell
The good thingsThe salary and perks.
The challengesMicromanagement from direct manager; no feedback for performance; uncommunicative manager; unclear/out of date instructions; no other IT staff in Australia; only given the wiki to read - no training or induction.

Positive place to work, good culture and development opportunities
The good thingsCulture - The culture at Veeam is one of the top seeling points. From day 1 I felt as part of the Veeam team. Working with people across the globe coupled with the ability to travel for work is also a huge plus. Development - Veeam has a number of resources in place to hep one drive their own career. Development panning, mentoring, job fairs, stretch assignments and promotions are to name a few. Autonomy - Veeam is a growing company and with that you have the ability to make a lasting difference, improve processes and adapt along the way. There is a lot of autonomy and trust in your work from management and this has a positive impact on all.
The challengesSometimes required to work out of hours to accommodate other time zones.

Easily the best company I've ever worked at. Company culture is the main driving factor. Highly recommend.
The good thingsThe organisation is the market leader in Back and Disaster Recovery. Company culture and aligning to the key core values are shown throughout the employees. Career progression and growth opportunities are always available. Fun and great place to work. Flat management structure with open and transparent messaging from Senior Management down.
The challengesOrganisation pays above market rate, however benefits could be better.

    Great Place To Work
The good thingsVeeam has been such a pleasure to work for the past couple of years, and I see myself being here for many more. The company, culture, people and products are all brilliant.
The challengesNone really. Not that this is a "challenge", but I would like to see more positions open up internally to promote more existing staff into bigger roles.

A fantastic company to build a long-term career, whilst making a lot of friends along the way.
The good thingsCompany has consistently grown for the past 10+ years, continually invests in the product but more importantly the people in the organization. The people and culture are amazing.
The challengesCan be tough to learn all the conceptual and technical concepts if you don't have a strong background in IT.

Bad Culture, Toxic, Ignorance, the worse place to destroy our OZ culture
The good thingsLike other OZ company, you will see nice guy all over here, but you will also meet bad buy everyday
The challengesToxic culture, this work place somewhere encouraging WFH, which is the worst for the company to hold anything longer in their value and believes

At Veeam you are expected to be autonomous, open, hard-working, trusting, yourself, humble and a team player.
The good thingsBig investment in their people with new and updated development tools being launched. Great culture and brand. Truly diverse workforce with great team activities. Growing company with endless possibilities
The challengesWith fast growing companies it's always a bit of a challenge to keep everyone engaged on the journey to greatness. Some employees leave as the company outgrows them i.e. moving from start-up environment to an established company.

Good graduate entry role, no further progression from this company. Very superficial and hyped up environment to promote its product, sales team is all about pretentious and political acts
The good thingsGood location, good brand, niche backup software. But again, that's not really justified by the negatives.
The challengesPoor management Micro management No progression
