During my experience as a Wendy's employee i found it to be both insightful, challenging and rewarding. The good things* the opportunity to learn new things/operations (especially if it is a person's first job in the workforce) of and within a popular food restaurant/company i.e. getting to know how the food retail market works and what it is like to for a first time worker, to serve food to customers including what truly goes into serving food in small chain food restaurants.
*the excellent co-operation & positive atmosphere with fellow employees.
*the positive and happy feedback received from customers.
overall, it is the friendly environment, support of fellow co-workers and happy, positive smiles & comments received from customers, that makes it all worth while.
The challenges*learning to positively approach and resolve issues/problems that arise sometimes when dealing with difficult customers or sometimes heated debates/disagreements with a fellow employee.
*having to quickly learn to multi-task and work well under pressure.
however, the challenges despite their difficulty, are both insightful and rewarding.
