    No support.
The good thingsFlexible working with WFH twice a week.
The challengesNo support from mentors despite “open door policy”. Instead of receiving clear instructions and guidance, tasks were often handed to me with minimal explanation, leaving me feeling overwhelmed and unprepared. When seeking clarification on these tasks, I was met with hostility rather than assistance, creating a toxic work environment.

Great environment, great opportunities to progress in your career, supportive management and an overall amazing workplace
The good thingsManagement genuinely care about their staff and emphasise career development. The team is like a big family, and all practice groups know each other.
The challengesJust normal day to day challenges that you would face. But are given support to overcome these challenges.

    Terrible - hostile working environment
The good thingsFlexibility with days and working hours but otherwise terrible environment to work in - Melbourne branch
The challengesNo support, no challenge and hostile working environment that makes you not want to go to work. No care factor in relation to workers and no encouragement or willingness to teach new employees.

    Great culture and learning opportunities
The good thingsWR is like a great big family - everyone is very welcoming and approachable. The development opportunities, particularly for junior lawyers, is great and the mentor/buddy system works really well. Everyone helps each other out and the culture is the best I've experienced in a law firm.
    The challengesNo challenges to note.

Professional, hard working and a great law firm to be mentored in.
The good thingsIn my role I am surrounded by amazing staff who are always available to mentor me and offer assistance when I need it. This is one of the most professional places I have ever worked in. As a student I have been offered opportunities for growth and development, so I would recommend WRL to any law students who are looking to start their professional careers and looking for experience.
The challengesI have not experienced any challenges since working here -- I have only had a positive experience.

Just another section to add to my resume
The good thingsAbility to gain limited experience in a few different areas of law.
The challengesThere seems to be a significantly bad workplace culture. High turnover of employees furthers the feeling of disconnect.

    Great start out
The good thingsAMAZING mentoring system. Clerks get paired up with a mentor, and are taught great skills. Clerks also get to run their own files.
