Incredibly hands on experience, great practical knowledge balanced with broad theoretical underpinnings. Many Seniors in the Profession whom I’ve so far had the chance to meet continuously comment on the high standard of knowledge and practice competency that comes from students who’ve graduated from the University of Newcastle.

The course was a good mixture of theory mixed with tutorial based activities. The best part of the course was how the degree covered generalised topics regarding psychology but also placed focused on a number of specialised pathways. Mixing psychological principles and foundations within the contexts of business, health and more was very beneficial.

The work placement component is ideal to show students the difference between practical and theory and how to apply what you learn into the workplace.

Excellent experience! Like everything, it’s what you make of it. Highly recommend taking advantage of other programs run by the uni like the study abroad program.

Some lecturers very savvy with technology and provided appropriate course notes and covered topics in depth. Other lecturers tended to sway off topic easily and be distracted.
