While the recruiter was very engaging to attract me to the role, the conditions of employment werent fully explained to me at the outset, being an employee of Northbridge and to be contracted out and on a casual rate. I only became aware of the conditions when the contract was issued and i had committed myself to the new role. This was after asking the recruiter directly whether it was a fulltime position during the intial phone call. Also there have been several restrictions on what i can do in my role as im confined by the contracted hours of employment limiting my ability to travel as required by the role. My suggestion would be to carry out a more detailed briefing to fully comprehend the role and business requirments for the client. When i presented this issue of travel and expenses to Northbridge, the ressponse that i received gave the impression that it was a problem for me to resolve with the mindset that im a contractor, which I'm not, I'm an employee of Northbridge.
