At the time Matt approached me, I was nearing the end of a maternity contract and had two or three other recruiters reach out via LinkedIn about new opportunities. From the very beginning, Matt stood out. He was the only recruiter who felt genuinely interested in my background, work ethic, and experience.
Every other recruiter I spoke with seemed unsure if I’d even provided a resume or needed reminders about where I’d previously worked - whereas Matt clearly knew my experience inside out. It was evident he had spent real time getting to know my career history.
He was also incredibly attentive throughout the entire process. After every meeting or interview (I think I had five in total!), he checked in, provided helpful guidance, and made sure I felt prepared even with tight turnarounds.
After I was hired, Matt continued to check in frequently, wishing me luck on my first day and making sure I was settling in well. He truly went above and beyond.
