Michael is an intuitive recruiter who understands the challenges of the Payroll Function and having to find the perfect fit for a Payroll team when sourcing Talent Specialising in the Banking and Finance Industry where he has the industry knowledge to utilise a talent pool that requires a specific set of skills Good Payroll people are hard to find so matching capabilities to each unique role requirement by understanding the role and what skills level will be the right fit ensures that he will always recommend the right Candidate And sometimes its not just the technical and soft skillset that needs to be matched company culture plays a huge part He has a knack for being able make the right judgement to not waste an employers time with interviewing candidates that just wont fit the culture He has a great understanding of the technical side of the Payroll function having to also be upto date with regulatory changes and technical advances which is so valuable as I imagine he would have to be able to explain technical requirements in a nontechnical way when working with HR or management who unfortunately dont always really understand what Payroll actually do Michael has a conversational communication style yet is clear and on point so there is no confusion or frustration on either side of the candidateemployer experience From my experience when I was Payroll manager at Rabobank I struggled to get the skillset required especially with the highly regulated nature of the business and focus on compliance across the business and in the Payroll space With his understanding of the Banking and Finance Industry and the complexities and unique demands to attract the right talent Michael helped me build a very effective and stable team When Rabobank embarked on a digital transformation implementing Workday with integrations to ADP he again provided a great candidate for the project team He was my goto and once again he understood what skills and experience the perfect candidate would need to have to meet our requirements which was imperative for us to complete the project successfully In my experience Michael is one of the best recruiters in the business and has been a pleasure to work with any time I needed the best talent
