How to become an Office Manager
To work as an Office Manager, the most common pathway is to have practical experience in an administrative role and an excellent knowledge of software packages. Office Managers with qualifications in business studies, information technology/computing, management or human resources are well regarded.
- 1.Complete a Certificate III in Business (Administration) (BSB30120) or Certificate IV in Business (Administration) (BSB40120). These are typically one or two-year courses, with no minimum education requirement.
- 2.If you are looking to advance your office management career, explore further opportunities for study, such as a Diploma of Leadership and Management (BSB50420), a Diploma of Business (Operations) (BSB50120) or a Bachelor of Business (Management).
