Warehouse Manager

Tasks and duties

• Receiving and dispatching goods including loading and unloading shipping containers.
• Reconciling incoming and outgoing stock with requisitions and updating inventory and stock location records.
• Examining incoming and outgoing stock to ensure proper fulfilment.
• Liaising with staff, senior managers and suppliers.
• Establishing and managing ongoing processes for receiving, handling and storing goods.
• Ensuring Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) policies are followed and creating a safety–conscious workplace culture.
• Performing new team member training and inductions.
• Supervising warehouse environment.
• Operating forklifts and other machinery to pick and store stock when necessary.
• Preparing delivery schedules.
• Planning and coordinating stocktakes.
• Printing labels detailing storage and despatch information.
