pathetic place to be involved in. work at your own risk.
The good thingsgood things?? from the start of hiring process they actually dont care about employee. meaning employees are being treated are options.
The challengesabsolutely disgraceful internal working staffs, too toxic mainly to international students.

An inspiring journey full of joy, adventure, with twists and turns against a background of continuous change, where my beliefs in social justice and inclusion were tested against commercial pragmatism and market uncertainty.
The good thingsHaving the skills and executive support to create and grow a newly merged brand in the sector that was and has been very dynamic, competitive and transformational.
The challengesAdjusting and refining the brand to take into account continuous changes and rules in the sector. Aligning creative strategy to attract and maintain a loyal client base who are often marginalised, or dealt with unfairly by changes to regulation and plans. The challenge was to grow the business with this uncertainty in the market place by developing services and supports that strengthened the brand positioning and bottom line. Keeping a high profile in the digital media through effective planning, comms and brand awareness was essential.

Most of my team are looking for another job... Run, don't walk
The good thingsKept my job after clients went to Achieve from another company
The challengesThey get rid of good knowledgable leaders and then we are left to fend for ourselves. The management is crumbling

Difficult place to work. Rostering is anti-family. Gives split night shifts and days off......
The good thingsSome great staff and great times with clients. Above award wage.
The challengesManagement do not listen to staff concerns about clients. Number one priority = saving money. Funding is claimed for 1:1 session with client which hardly ever happens. Staff encouraged to report one another to management. Lots of short shifts = hardly any days off. Split night shifts!

Empowering Innovation Through a No-Blame Culture.
The good thingsGreat no-blame culture that fosters a supportive environment where team members feel safe to share ideas and learn from mistakes, driving continuous improvement. This innovative and contemporary approach not only enhances creativity but also empowers staff to contribute to transformative practices.
The challengesAdapting to an ever changing regulatory environment while remaining focused on providing contemporary support to a diverse and complex client base.

The good thingsClients, and some good staff
The challengesThe management doesn't understand the value abd respecting of values staff members, worked here for a year and I haven't had felt this much negativity for a company with high level of years in the industry. I'm just surprised it's still running

Great place to work if you care about providing great client support for people with disabilities. Don’t join if you just want a job & don’t want to constantly look at ways to improve support and the lives of people with disabilities.
The good thingsPurpose driven organisation. Cares about staff and clients. Supportive management & leadership. Big focus on quality client service.
The challengesHard industry to work in. Staff shortages & restructures in last 18 months has meant some staff exits unhappy with improvements to practice & performance expectations. Focus on improving practice & clients has meant some staff leaving because don’t like changes.

Not good, find another company to offer your support services to and if you are in need of support services find them elsewhere.
The good thingsThe actual clients are amazing. These amazing people deserve better support from the company (Achieve) that manages their care needs.
The challengesManagement are unskilled, unprofessional, have no leadership or support skills. Have not met their clients face to face, so do not know their background. Provides no information to carers when sending them to meet a new clients and expects them to just wing it. They seem more worried about the money they make rather than what’s best for their clients who need support workers. Achieve seems to mismanage their clients rather than do what’s best for them.

The challengesPoor management focused on fault finding, lacking support to team leaders, self interested and toxic. Unhealthy attitude to not only staff but their customers as well using staff then turning and burning them.

My experience at Achieve was good for the part of working with clients however working for Achieve itself was difficult and stressful at times.

The good thingsDedicated front-line staff with big hearts, doing the best they can.
The challengesThree CEOs, three CFOs, and two HR Directors over the last two years, just wow, it's hard to believe what head office is saying. Do they believe what they are saying? What they say and what they do is so chalk and cheese.

    Chaotic and crisis-driven mess
The good thingsThey are not experts.
The challengesNursing staff are leaving in droves. Respected senior managers suddenly disappearing from the Senior Leadership Team in June and July, never to be seen again. High staff turnover in general. Bad public transport, parking nightmare, and no trains from September onwards when the train line shuts down. A dobbing culture that focuses on fault-finding.

Awful experience with no support from management.
The good thingsThe only good thing to come out of this organisation are SOME of the people i had the opportunity to work with.
The challengesThe challenges that i had to face on a day to day basis had to do with management and difficult staff members. There was no freedom and they weren't open to ANY new ideas that could help the company. They also treated the clients in a bad way.
