    Fun but flawed by management.
    The good thingsAn intelligent, fun and interesting bunch of people to work with, and a strong desire, when they hire, of keeping that. Acquisition by Oracle is a game changer.
    The challengesVast tech-debt. Poor decision making and communications arise from the struggles between the mind of a startup in the body of a publicly listed multinational. Acquisition by Oracle will add to the tumult.

    Worse place I have worked in recent memory
    The good thingsOffice is in the CBD new some nice coffee places.
    The challengesThe technology used here belongs in a museum. A bunch of middle age guys running around in obscure 80's SciFi T-shirts trying to be hip. The politics are some of the worst I have ever seen particular given it's a small company. They don't live up to the external reputation. Many have been here too long have no desire to be progressive and modern.

    Has some of the best Software Engineers in Melbourne
    The good things- Has some of the best Software Engineers in Melbourne - Engineering practices and technologies are current - Amazing inclusive culture with many activities to participate in
    The challenges- Alignment of goals and direction between business units could be better (but this is improving) - Still working out how to properly integrate recent large acquisition. Again, this is improving too.
