    Leadership Role

Loved the job and the opportunities for advancement, but due to staff shortages, inflexible budgets and lack of resources was draining.
The good thingsGreat opportunities for growth and upward movement in role. A lot of investment in curriculum. A lot of training opportunities online.
The challengesA big focus on enrolments, even when staff are burnt out and suffering severe staff shortages. A lot of money spent on new initiatives, but not a lot of follow through of them at centre level due to staffing and budget constraints. Very rarely do staff get training time. No paid staff meetings - just toil. Expected to be at work early to set up, but not paid to do so. Lack of resources through entire centre. Maintenance often took way too long to be completed.
