Company is all talk and no action. It’s need for global presence is the only reason it warrants continuing to operate in Oceania. Looking for short term employment - apply here.
The good thingsMeeting, networking, and conducting business with an array of people across a vast range of industries.
The challengesA revolving door of short-term underqualified predominantly expatriate senior managers creating an inconsistent and unstable workplace environment with limited opportunities for career development. Health and safety not taken seriously. Increasingly limited technical competence due to high staff turnover. Quality of product offering exponentially deteriorating because of an ongoing lack of investment in people and infrastructure.

    Great bunch of co-workers
The good thingsMulti national global company with a Swedish flavour makes for a lot of cultural diversity and a very interesting group of people to work with. Lots of interesting products and well known in certain industries. Business across a vast range of industries and clients. Makes for interesting work, but also provides stability (i.e. when one business area is struggling, another is booming, providing some stability in business size and staff levels)
The challengesStrategic decisions are not made quickly when sometimes this is needed.

The brand is well established in the marketplace, relatively easy to sell. However, Australia is only a sales office for Alfa Laval, so opportunity to grow technical knowledge is somewhat limited. That being said, it is a good place to develop a sales car
The good thingsGood place to establish network. Colleagues are young in general, good dynamic.
The challengesEvery division acted like a separate entity, each trying to protect its own interest and cross division collaboration is difficult. None commission based salary package, just capped bonus structure, so it will be mostly outside individual's control.
