Employee turnover was massive. Both people leaving and people being pushed out the door. Your entire mind is consumed by thoughts of your role 24/7 because of the communication apps they insist you install on your phone day one. Day 1 is a slogan there. Every day is day 1. It's right because every day you feel as unsure about your role and your job security within the company as Day 1. If you ever challenge the status quo or the managers, you will very quickly develop an in-depth understanding of the definition and mechanisms of gaslighting. Unionize? Hah. Don't say the U word on their systems.
The good thingsPay is good for the expertise required to fulfil the basic task of replacing parts.
The challengesManagers. They either were ignorant of Australian worker protection laws (except for diversity inclusion), or didn't care. Certainly A top down affect. Very little guidance from managers and senior techs. The type of people who work Data Centres have very low social skills (who then turn manager)
