We also carry out functional assessments to assist people living with disability to access the NDIA and support employment.My Aged Care programAPM provides assessment services to the Australian Government’s My Aged Care home support program. Many older people living at home need support to stay living independently and to access the right support services. Our assessors visit people in their home to determine the level of support they need and refer them to services in their local community.DisabilityAPM is part of the National Panel of Assessors which helps determine the support needs for people with disability in the workplace. And on the panel for Independent Assessments undertaken for the NDIA. As part of the APM team, you’ll be joining an exceptional group of qualified, friendly and experienced allied health professionals and rehabilitation counsellors, who perform the assessments.

    The good thingsI enjoyed working with the clients and some of my colleagues. I met lots of new people, mostly due to the high turnover rate of staff.
    The challengesStaff turnover was constant, and expectations often felt disconnected from what was realistically achievable. Support for employees was minimal, and raising concerns didn’t feel safe. The environment was heavily KPI-driven, with little regard for wellbeing — not a sustainable workplace in my experience.
