I learnt that company culture is the most important thing to me.The good thingsAFP acknowledge work life balance and accept other commitments. AFP gave me the opportunity to experience workshop duties, engineering work and on-site work (karara mine). I understood the gap between engineers and fitters or laborers, not only in the role at the business but also in understanding and comprehending technical drawings. I also understood the gap between students knowledge and professional knowledge.
The challengesI had to do more research to learn about the AFP trade and work. At first, it was difficult to know whom I could approach with my lack of understanding or difficulties in the workplace. I had difficulties engaging with the workshop staff, different characters & personalities.
