I struggled managing with my stress level. My anxiety gets worse after working for more than a year. For me, it was not a good experience at all and I left as I can’t manage my stress anymore and I was not coping due to uncertainty of the changes within the management.
    The good thingsFlexible working arrangement
The challengesChanging processes without giving enough notification that I struggled to cope.

I really enjoyed my time Volunteering at Burnie Brae.
The good thingsThe staff at Burnie Brae are lovely to work with - very friendly people and most helpful to their clients and other staff. I worked only on a Volunteer Basis - it was not paid employment.
The challengesTo gain paid employment is quite limited as Burnie Brae is not a large organisation.

    Respected name in the community.
The good thingsIt is still a relatively small organisation so nobody is just a number. I often get told good things people have heard about Burnie Brae when they find out who I work for.
The challengesI don't think there is a large staff turnover so probably not many opportunities for advancement if you are wanting it.
