It was alright, I would have stayed longer had the issues not built up unfortunately. The good thingsI enjoyed how most of my colleagues were very supportive and kind. Quite inclusive and has structure but needs improvement. I do believe the management when I began was fantastic and it was a positive and uplifting experience.
The challengesThere is a lot of bias and favouritism that happens, and a lot of gossip and microaggressions that made it really uncomfortable. A lot of offensive and gossipy things said by management have been played off as jokes, and it can be very difficult to fit in if you're uncomfortable with this behaviour and not part of their 'family'. It just feels like management needs a bit more training on being inclusive and respectful, giving feedback with support and solution. The training is also very lackluster so it was like being thrown in at the deep end. Any time these issues would be brought up, and even significant issues would not really be looked at. I feel there's a huge disconnect and there needs more communication and support. I feel like if you are a manager here, you're either under a lot of pressure and stress, or let off very easy with every mistake you make/issue you have.
