I got my RSG, but bar shifts took too long, and I was underpaid in a micromanaged environment.
The good thingsI made a lot of good friends there.
The challengesI was encouraged to get my RSG to officially become a bartender, since every bar had a Keno terminal. But even then, it took a long time for those shifts to happen. Despite being fully qualified, I didn’t get bar shifts for quite a while. In the meantime, I was doing bartender duties most shifts but being paid less than I should have been. On top of that, there was a lot of micromanagement from some team leaders, which made the environment feel hostile. They often cut shifts to save money, too. I hope they improve how they treat staff in the future.
