    Good role but no support
The good thingsMost of my colleagues were great, and I genuinely enjoyed my role and learnt a lot, however everything I learnt was on-the-job or from my own research as there was no training given. The organisation has a lot of departments so lots of room to move to different roles and teams.
The challengesThere was no clear policies and processes and very little training. All decisions were made at the discretion of the manager because of this lack of procedures. This meant that sometimes different managers would disagree and you’d be caught in the middle of it. Very little work life balance and lots of changes to schedules. The managers would give you very little guidance and support on issues when you asked for help with, yet would micromanage you on the most minor administrative tasks. The organisation was definitely going downhill and lots of cuts to staff and resources due to financial reasons. This meant that unsafe and dangerous decisions were made for vulnerable clients in an effort to save money.

Unsupported and when trying to discuss concerns with management or HR about managers being unprofessional, it was inappropriately handled by them.
The good thingsColleagues and clients were amazing to work with.
The challengesManagement was the worst experience. Not supportive. Mean behaviour came from high up.
