A few poor things contribute to City Cave not being the best place to work in the long run, but overall a good transition in between workplaces. The good thingsThe customers. No day is ever the same. Also when you build rapport with your customers they may bring you little gifts to make you smile!
The challengesWorking alone. Not a lot of social aspect to build colleague relationships and have much of a business culture internally. No opportunity for growth. I had discussed promotion / role changes / various other job opportunities, up to five times while working there, unfortunately all met with no acknowledgment.
Also a lot of shift changes and cancellations last minute. Despite needing to be available for the company at all times, the level of respect and dedication given to their staff is not what is expected from yourself.
