The ever-evolving superannuation industry is a wild and daunting ride, but the supportive work environment at CSC has made this an exhilarating and rewarding journey.
The good thingsCSC offers a rewarding work environment where I can work on meaningful projects that have a genuine impact on people. More importantly, I am supported by colleagues and managers who foster a collaborative environment and actively encourage personal growth.
The challengesThe company is currently undergoing a transformative phase, and upcoming regulatory changes in the industry have the potential to impact your work depending on the team you're a part of. Keeping up with your own learning can also prove to be challenging in this environment especially if you have no prior knowledge of the industry.

Support your staff, be a manager that knows how to lead not one that just wants the title, it doesn't work and they lose all respect from staff.
The good thingsClients and Technicians were very good. when I started 20 years ago it was an excellent place to work, management supported the staff, a fantastic team environment, work was busy and hard at times, but the environment was happy, supportive. Technicians supported each other.
The challengesStats became more important than the staff and clients. Less technicians and work overload, we only heard from management when there was a problem. Client sites were great though.

Really Positive, I regret leaving (but I needed to establish my family in Sydney and being seconded to Canberra was not an option for me).
The good thingsI was there in 2006-2008. It was a great company with W/L balance, lots of work and variety. Lots of IP to gain due to Catalyst.
The challengesI was getting fatigued yoyo(ing) between HighLevel engagements and LowLevel engagements.

The good thingsGreat environment with many opportunities for further your careers in different roles in various projects.
The challengesNot all projects are interesting so you need to prepare your self to fit with the roles so that you are flexible to choose which one you like most.

DXC had the potential to make an awesome company, however they fell for the old long-term talk, short-term focus. The culture will be one of a desperate want-to-be as they have lost focus on the long game.
The good thingsEating their own dogfood with Digital
The challengesWay to much ego and self-serving behaviour at the top and constant moving targets that change throughout the year.

CSC became a large part of my life and I was happy it did, it gave me opportunities to explore the world and I will always be grateful for that.
The good thingsGreat People, Respect for the individual; Good working areas; Clean light and a real pleasure to come into every morning. CSC was more of a family than just friends and colleagues. I loved working for them.
The challengesChanges to procedures coming from management which did not always fit the culture in Australia. That was a challenge.

be eyes wide open about the business they're in, service provider bound by commercials and watching their money. Sales people smooch and get big $, delivery are treated like mushrooms.
The good thingsDesk space is generally ok with wholesale retrenchment and people working from home/site.
