    Learnt tons, but doing fulltime will automatically ruin your mental health - too much input & stress

    The challengesDay to day operations are not great. Each account is different but they all have commonalities like limited autonomy, low wages, high surveillance and very high expectations

    Toxic workplace and management
    The good thingsFree coffee when the machines worked, coworkers you meet are the best part of the job. Bonus if you hit all your KPI's.
    The challengesManagement belittles you and yells at you in front of everyone, gossip runs rampant here and feels like you're back in high school again. No mental health support even though you're dealing with bad situations and tough calls and pay is not what it seems on the ads.

    Pure hell, like not worth the $25.80
    The good thingsThe people who are suffering next to you as you try not to have a breakdown
    The challengesOverworked and underpaid. Despite doing twice the work of people who worked directly for Centrelink, and constantly fixing their mistakes because they would give customers wrong information. We would get most of the anger. Additionally, we had unrealistic KPI goals to meet and zero support from management after stressful calls.

    Training is extensive with ongoing training available.
    The good thingsThe training is some of the best I've experienced. This ensured you were well equipped to perform your role. Amazing support from subject matter experts who could explain anything you weren't 100% confident in. The opportunity to upskill to be able to do different tasks. When the company supplied lunch they always supported local small cafes. I only left because the Labor party were talking about removing contractors from the Public Service contracts otherwise I would still be there
    The challengesAt the time the pay rate was very low. Though they did offer a bonus system which was attainable . At times poor communication from the decision makers. The rotating roster made it difficult for work / life balance.

    For your own mental health don’t work here.
    The good thingsAvoid at all costs if your a stable normal person.
    The challengesExtremely challenging work environment. The pay is low, and the workplace culture significantly affected my mental health to the point where it impacted my sleep. The management team often prioritises their own job security over supporting their staff. The work itself is simple, which unfortunately leads to widespread complacency among colleagues. High turnover is a major issue very few people stay long.

    Good staff, underpaid, appalling management.At first it was ok and had a honeymoon period during Covid. But after that it all went downhill. Management do not give a damn about you. Met a handful of good staff there but management sucks. I was firsed from this place in the end but I didn't care because everything was so poorly managed that I was legitmately glad they axed me, otherwise I was going to quit anyway. Don't do this unless you're extremely desperate.

    Not a great place to work
    The good thingsThe team members were great and made some good friends
    The challengesIt was a hard environment with very little support. The culture is very toxic and the management do not help with this. It was a very unpleasant place to go to work each day. They also do not pay very well especially for the expectations they place on you.

    The challengesThe values of the company state if you see something, say something. And that no retaliation will happen for saying something. All lies, management are lazy, uncaring and unable to accept difference. They claim they support you, however they do not.

    While a contact center has its us and downs, Concentrix helps develops helpful life skills.
    The good thingsConcentrix comes together as a community, while the work can be hard, the people you work with really come together. There are also some good discounts you can get access too.

    Overall it has been ok. Definitely not the worst place to work. But also not the best, management have been known to take their authority too seriously and take advantage of it. The evaluations on your calls are quite disheartening, it can put you in a real funk. However, if you put your head down and just work you'll be fine

    The challengesI hate being micro-managed and adhering to a strict schedule to meet coverage. Although I love the people, this job has a high turnover rate, so eventually, they all leave. I have no friends left, and working feels so isolated. My mental health has decreased tremendously since starting this job. I've wanted to leave since the first day I started.
