Some people (team leaders/management) really try, despite what I can only describe as a toxic place.
The good thingsSome of the people. Satisfaction when you actually help someone in a tough situation.
The challengesThe training focuses on protecting the company way more than how to actually do the job. Too much 'sink or swim' style training which makes achieving KPI's next to impossible.

Concentrix (Jenelle) gave me chance to excel beyond my wildest expectations.
The good thingsEVERYTHING, Love the fact the Concentrix is so inclusive of diversity in every sense of the word.
The challengesCall center work can be challenging with difficult customers and processing teams letting us down. The times are fixed and at the beginning you must be ready for limited flexibility.

    Supportive, challenging and Fun.
The good thingsDuring my time at Concentrix all Team's I have been a part of have been very supportive of my goals, growth and development professionally. I am very grateful for all progression and growth within my roles I have made within such a short period of time.
The challengesI have had an amazing experience with this company and have been provided countless opportunities for growth and development in all of my roles. This role is something completely new to me, so having the opportunity to change career paths was always going to be challenge. I am developing new skills, and I feel I have endless learning opportunities here with a great team.

The Leaders/other coworkers were amazing people who genuinely cared about the other people working there, and wanted to help. But the low pay/constant bad calls/lack of communication/TERRIBLE systems that are constantly glitched, really ruined what had the potential to be a great thing.
The good thingsThe diversity and fun casual atmosphere was fresh. Your coworkers keep you wanting to go to work and you truly lean on each other through the hardships you face taking the hardest calls of your life.
The challengesThere is no communication which is incredibly frustrating for you, your coworkers, and your leaders. I knew more than my leaders at the end of my time there and was not allowed to escalate hard calls due to this. I was constantly finding things out, and trying to let my coworkers know, but was faced with the problem of needing to take calls at the same time, and dealing with the fallout/fixing of mis-information other CSO's would give callers due to other CSO's just not being told new info/about changes. Call times were 5 hours or more some days and you had to de-escalate the callers from the get go, which increased call times even for simple problems/questions, and messed with your mental as you are always exhausted.

Amazing and supportive place to work for
The good thingsWorking for Concentrix is working for a super diverse company with a great culture and amazing people who want you to succeed in your role. From the start you’re being made welcome and from day 1 people are checking in on you to see how you are doing and if they can help with anything. The first few weeks you get training which prepares you for the job and again everyone is so helpful and wants you to feel good. Because they know, as you are feeling good they will get the benefit from it too with a happy and satisfied employee. During the job you get all the support that’s needed to be successful and management is looking after your (mental) wellbeing. Concentrix knows what it’s important to be successful: making sure their employees are happy and feel supported, they will pay it back in giving all their best to the company. The other great side of Concentrix, there are so many development options available. If you want to develop, Concentrix is giving you that opportunity.
The challengesSome calls are challenging because you deal with real people with real problems. Luckily you have the support around you to deal with those calls the best you can.

Worst leadership I have ever experienced in a job
The good thingsI made some nice co-worker friends
The challengesThere is no support, a sad working environment, a culture of blaming everyone on staff when it is a reflection of poor leadership, unhealthy hierarchy issues, getting spoken down to by leaders, lack of communication, and management not doing their jobs; the way they run systems makes no sense etc...

    Don't come here.
The good thingsIf you're thinking about working for this company I would seriously think twice. They don't care about your mental health even if they say they do. They don't. After almost a year here I decided to quit. I was taking days off, not eating, not sleeping, and I was having dark thoughts. On top of that you don't have a life. You don't get paid enough to deal with angry and stupid customers. Quitting was probably the best thing I ever did.
The challengesEverything. The members, and the management. So many of my friends left in the first 6 months. I should have done the same.

Great training, great people, interesting work - no two days the same.
The good thingsReally good training, very diverse so lots of new skills learnt. Great team culture with a positive approach to helping each other when we can and sharing of information between us so that everyone's job is that little bit easier. Very structured procedures which make it very easy and transparent to do/see what you have done. Very good one-on-one tutorial feedback when a mistake is made so that you have a better understanding of where you may have gone wrong and why. Very generous staff care by providing fruit baskets daily, snack items in the pantry as well as good quality coffee machine choices. Fun days organised with dress-ups such as pyjama days, halloween, Easter bunny handing out chocolates, International food days where we bring in food and share in the diversity we have in the different cultures we are fortunate to have within our offices, participation in various challenges as well as participating in community projects such as clean up Australia day etc. Potential to earn extra income by providing a bonus scheme and all time worked is paid - even if it's just a few minutes over your shift.
The challengesThe only real challenge can be that we may not always be able to help the customers as much as we would like but this is not a company or staff issue, but rather a governing one as there are rules legislated as to what we are able to do/give a customer, making this an issue out of our immediate control. However, having said this, there are alternative ways we can offer to the customer that can be found within their own local communities.

    Unsatisfied and stressed every day.
The good thingsMy co-workers, meaning those on my pay grade, were absolutely lovely.
The challengesChanges to policy every day. One day they tell you one thing and just as you get the hang of it, it's changed. Leadership are not all on the same page.
