I’ve gained hands-on experience in fast-paced customer service at Costco’s food court, handling cash transactions, preparing food, and working efficiently as part of a team
The good thingsCostco provides a great environment to learn and improve new skills. It’s a stable company with steady growth, which means employees have reliable hours and long-term opportunities
The challengesCostco provides limited scheduling flexibility, which means shifts can change every day or every week. Moreover, the job demands a lot of heavy lifting and long hours on the feet.

Terrible from start to finish. I wanted to quit within the first 2 months but a coworker begged me to stay. I would not recommend working for Costco unless you are desperate.
The good thingsNot a lot. They offer a lot of extras like optical cover and premium membership, but you have to jump through hoops to get it.
The challengesPoorly managed, managers do whatever they want without repercussions for their behaviour. When you complain to upper management they try to blame it on the employee. In the time I was working there I saw Safework SA come out at least 2 times. Machinery isn't even bolted to the ground.

Costco is always open up a challenge for new employees
The good thingsCostco pays their employees pretty well each fortnight especially working at the meat department
The challengesAlways work in another retail stores before settling in Costco. They expect you to greet customers other than working on one task to another.
