What’s it like working at DBG Health?

    AI summary of recent reviews

Employees appreciate the supportive and collaborative team culture at DBG Health, with direct colleagues described as caring and friendly. Management is generally approachable and invested in employee wellbeing, and there are good opportunities for career growth and professional development. The compensation and benefits package is competitive, including above-market salaries, car allowances, and incentive programmes. The modern office facilities are well-regarded, with quality amenities and social events that contribute to a positive workplace experience.

However, there are some potential challenges to consider. Workloads can be demanding, with expectations of unpaid overtime in a fast-paced, high-growth environment. Leadership quality and support vary across teams, and some employees have experienced inconsistency in management approaches. Flexible working arrangements differ between departments, which can affect work-life balance. Communication can be challenging during periods of rapid growth, with shifting priorities and limited transparency around organisational changes. Some employees feel that HR support could be strengthened, and career progression opportunities may vary depending on team dynamics. Additionally, parking availability is limited at the office location.

Challenging culture. In my experience, favoritism and poor leadership behavior is disastar.
The good thingsNothing was good in the company
The challengesChallenging culture. In my experience, favoritism and inconsistent along with visionless leadership made it difficult to feel valued or supported, regardless of performance.

It’s not an environment I’d feel comfortable stepping back into—I found it quite disturbing
The good thingsI enjoyed the environment, where everyone was very busy, communication was minimal, and support was limited.
The challengesThe culture felt very dog‑eat‑dog, where people had to put others down to get ahead. I was hired to lead and manage the role, but within six months they brought in two more senior people above me. I was then pushed into doing more groundwork before being made redundant, without any solid explanation. When they made people leave, it happens very quietly, with no announcements at all. Because my time there was so short, I was repeatedly questioned in the interview about whether the redundancy was related to my performance, and it ultimately took me eight months to find my next job. If you currently have a steady role in a genuinely collaborative team and are simply looking for a change, this place will expose you to the darker side of human behaviour.

Toxic workplace with a strong blame culture. Promotion is based on favouritism.
The good thingsDirect team members are supportive and collaborative
The challengesIncreasingly heavy workload without pay and time in lieu. Favouritism culture eroding trust and demoralizing high performing employees. Leadership is non existent, you are on your own, no one will have your back. Top heavy structure, too many managers and general managers who think they know it all. Employees feel under valued and disrespected. No career progression.
