good people ok pay broken everywhere else
The good thingsgood people decent location if you live near by
The challenges non exsistent training in the truck (plenty for forklifts and warehouse)
trucks are near breaking or broken in various ways
help is very mixed bag and at times inconsistent

Dutt Transport is a good company interesting jobs plenty of variety bacisily to hard to live on local wage which is a shame the hole industry is not in touch with reality

May 2022As a casual, there was no certainty of working every day. The start times varied greatly and with little notice, which made home life difficult.
The good thingsWorking with some really good people.
The challengesBeing heard. There were some office staff who would not listen to driver’s concerns.

The good thingsEvery night was different and presented Challenges I enjoyed. Senior Management set your tasks and what was expected from you and didn’t micromanage. My input was taking on board with important company decisions. Management’s ability to bring out the best in me.
The challengesConvincing the same Senior Management you are ready to take on more responsibility in more senior positions within the company.

I'm loving it!
The good thingsI've been with DUTT for over three years and have seen many positive changes along the way. Overall the company is a great place to work. The environment is young, competitive, and fast paced which makes my days continually exciting and different. DUTT fosters learning and personal growth opportunities at all levels of the business, and it is great to be witness to young colleagues climb their way up from frontline roles into supervisory/management type roles with on the job training and direct mentoring from their leaders. DUTT is growing extremely fast nationally so advancement opportunities look good for people wanting to get on board a with a growing organisation. I would definitely recommend this workplace to others.
The challengesThe challenge is that with substantial growth comes a lot of new process implementation and new staff along with it. But if you look at it the right way and you are serious about making positive change within the workplace, work collectively within a team, and developing robust systems and processes…. It is an extremely valuable learning experience that you may not find elsewhere!
