Fast-paced role with good opportunities to learn, step up, and build real operational experience.
The good thingsGood team environment and fast-paced work which keeps things interesting. Gained strong experience in both warehouse operations and control room monitoring, with opportunities to step up into a leadership role. Solid place to build work ethic, learn how operations run, and develop under pressure.
The challengesWork can be physically demanding and fast-paced, especially during busy periods. Communication can sometimes be inconsistent, and shifts can vary which may affect routine. More structure and consistency would improve overall workflow.

I was chewed up and spat out
The good thingsThe pay rate was high
The challengesZero training on the systems is provided, zero support for staff. You are a number in the system and there is zero loyalty to staff. If you can't pick it up immediately you get let go.

A giant cesspool of a place!
The good thingsBeing paid each week. Getting in my car & leaving every night. Dreaming of winning the lotto!
The challengesSince FedEx took over TNT, EVERYTHING!!!! Management are useless. All the way to the top in Perth. If you are a long-term employee, expect to be shafted! No support. Your mental health will suffer. They do not care about the health of driver's. Everyone is just a number on a computer screen. Un-realistic expectations.

Toxic Management Made the Job Unsustainable
The good thingsI met some lovely people while working there
The challengesMy time at FedEx was challenging—not because of the work itself, which was manageable and straightforward—but due to poor management practices. I was consistently overworked, underpaid, and experienced issues with altered timesheets, which affected my compensation. Promised training was either inadequate or never delivered, leaving employees to figure things out on their own. Unfortunately, the lack of support and accountability from leadership made the work environment stressful and frustrating.

Heavy rigid driver at Fed ExFed Ex in my opinion is a great company to work for, the staff are friendly and supportive; I’m a truck driver at Fed Ex so I’m on the road most of the day and it’s pretty good other then some of the traffic jams we get into out on our delivery runs. most logistics companies it can get a bit crazy some days and you days start and finish times can change depending on what your role is. As long as your doing your job safely and professionally then you have nothing to be concerned about.

You're just another brick in the wall, easy work, money ok, expect long hours.
The good thingsLinehaul work was busy but easy physically at the same time
The challengesNew management are extremely impersonal at Fedex Tullamarine, just a number and wont have your back when issues arise, human resources are anything but. In the old former TNT era with smaller depots, you felt like family and were much more appreciated.

Best job I've ever had with the best team I've ever been part of. I actually look forward to coming here everyday. This place has proven to me that they're not all bad and has literally given me my life back.
The good thingsWork/life balance, the culture, the mateship. Everybody looks out for each other and works hard to make sure we all achieve what we need to as a team. Nobody gets left behind, constantly reshuffling workloads to support those who need it on any given day and the pay is FANTASTIC!!
The challengesThe lifers that have been around since FedEx was 'TNT' and having to tiptoe around them.. Nothing will ever be good enough for them, unfortunately. "Not like the good ole days." They haven't been out in the real world for decades and don't know how good they've got it. They make some days hard.

The good thingsVery compelling advertisement for the job making all types of false competency claims.

The good thingsCustomers become your close friends
The challengesNo consistency at all. you can be driving different type of vehicles in different areas. management don't care about your wellbeing only target numbers on reports. English is not main spoken language at Fedex depot in Perth.

The good thingsThe collegues you work with actually want to work with you and work around you and have your back
The challengesLazy Management, Sad approach to wanting to help staff. Always in the pipeline to be moved and helped into a new role but nothing ever EVER happens. Constantly have smoke blown up your backside. FedEx Culture ruined the TNT way of doing things.
